Known issues

What we already know is wrong, so a tester can tell a new fault from an old one. If

something is not on this page, it is worth reporting.

Known, being worked on

**Scrolling across film posters looks smeared or doubled.** The cause is not yet

confirmed. Worth reporting only if you see it somewhere other than the film shelf.

**"Recently Released" is in the wrong order.** Fixed. Each film's full release date is

carried now rather than just the year it fell in, and the shelves named after a date are

ordered newest first. It takes effect on the next library build.

**A shelf looks empty after the server updates.** Fixed, not yet released. The app reads

your library when it starts and never again, and it never stops while you are watching,

so a server that restarted underneath it left it holding the old answer. An empty shelf

now asks once more by itself.

**Most shows have no episodes in the series guide columns.** The columns are correct; the

link between a show and its episodes is missing for most shows.

**Hub tiles sit grey for up to a minute after launch.** Artwork is still arriving. Comics

may stay grey longer than the rest.

**Titles that are not out yet appear in the library**, such as a film dated next year.

Fixed. Two separate faults were behind it. A title dated after today is now shelved under

**Coming Soon** rather than among the films you hold, and it moves itself into the library

on its release day. Separately, a tracker's *plan to watch* list was being imported as

though it were a library -- a hundred of one owner's six hundred Simkl rows -- and those

now go to **On your want list** instead. Nothing was deleted; the titles moved shelf.

**Music opens an older screen saying music is not enabled for this profile.** The server

reports music as available; this one is in the app.

**Audiobook counts differ between the hub and the library.** They are two different

numbers -- what you have, and what is on your wishlist. Both are right and the labels are

not.

**The numbers on the library room cards are wrong or missing.** Fixed. Music said thirty-

five, which was the albums you had hearted rather than the two thousand on the shelf, and

audiobooks and comics had no number at all: all three were being counted off the film and

series library instead of their own. Each room counts its own library now, and a card

whose library cannot be read shows no number rather than a wrong one.

**Audiobook covers stand proud of their frames.** Fixed, not yet released.

**Seasons in an info panel cannot be reached or chosen.** Fixed, not yet released.

**Some albums play the same track twice in a row.** Fixed. Those albums were imported

twice -- two copies of one record, from two paths -- and both copies went into the

queue. An album now holds one copy of each track. A second disc and a reprise are not

repeats and are untouched.

**Music will not scroll past titles beginning with A.** Fixed, not yet released. The

Everything band held sixteen records from a single page, and nothing on that screen

could ask for the rest. It now holds the whole shelf and fetches more as you reach the

end of it.

**Albums with no artwork cannot be hidden**, unlike the other sections. Fixed, not yet

released. Music reads the same per-television setting the library wall does.

**A comic's info panel says the server did not recognise the title.** Fixed, not yet

released. The server's detail page is built from the film and series library, so a

comic was never going to be found there. Comics and albums leave that line empty and

give the space to their own facts.

**4K and codec badges appear on roughly one title in thirty.** They are being removed

entirely. The MPAA rating stays.

Fixed on the server, no update needed

**Add-on catalogues now load.** Press left from Discover.

**Downloads that connected, stalled and reconnected in a loop.** If two of your Usenet

providers share a backbone -- NewsDemon and NewsgroupDirect do, so do either of them and

UsenetExpress -- each was being given its own full connection limit, so the backbone was

asked for twice what it allows. Providers on one network now share one budget. See

**Connection counts typed into InfiniDysk or NZBGet are overwritten, and always were.**

That is deliberate: GeekStream configures all three engines from the provider you saved

in the dashboard. Change the connection limit on the provider, not in the engines.

**The comics shelf reported itself empty when it was not.**

**Indexers were being asked too quickly during a library build.** If your indexer wrote to

you about abuse, that was GeekStream, and it is fixed. See

A single indexer is now asked at most forty times a minute however many titles are

waiting, and two indexers never wait for each other.

**Special Orders does nothing.** Two faults, both found on 29 September. The screen's

four routes were never opened at the gateway, so every request it made was refused

before it reached the server -- that is fixed. Separately, the worker that fills

orders only handles films and series, and every order on the owner's list is music,

so nothing has ever been delivered. That half is not fixed yet.
